There are a lot of unique details that went into this extended range guitar. The first eye-catcher is the particularly deep-red colored maple burl that faces the swamp ash body. The black ebony fingerboard offers a nice color contrast, and a matching color of wood was used for the side block inlays. The fanfret makes good use of the Lace Alumitone bar pickups, which can be slanted and still pick up the full range of each string. The inlay is in tribute to a martial arts move that will be left unclarified.
