Custom 5-String Bass
Although this isn't the most far-out bass in the listings, it is a beautiful example of a typical custom build. What I like the most is that I would not have thought that the combination of a myrtle top and bloodwood fretboard would work well visually. The client picked them, and the result is gorgeous. The bass was designed to be efficient in size, so a 33" scale was used. The body was custom designed to be about 1" smaller in width and length, which noticeably reduces the overall weight.
